Got this email Friday.  Maybe you can relate.

“Hi Tim,

I purchased your program, I want to say a year ago.  I am going to be 63 years old (but a young 63, not the Grandmotherly type).  I have wanted to learn to play the piano as far as I can remember.  Coming from a poor family, was never able to take lessons.  2 years ago, I put my foot down and decided I will get a piano teacher.  She is wonderful and comes very well recommended.  As I read your emails and what others write about having tried the traditional way and those that have gone untraditional, I get inspired and think there is still hope for me.  I have no musical background (I didn’t even know that there was a partial alphabet on a scale, that will tell you, how much I know about music)  I bought your product and I am not sure if I’m just afraid to commit to the program or failure. 2 years and  I am still in the Primer Level in my class.  I go to class once a week and practice daily, without fail for 45 minutes to an hour, but I still struggle trying to read the music.  I will learn a lesson for the moment, but if she give it to me the same lesson on another day, it looks greek to me.  I am an educated person, so that is not the problem.  I feel that I may get confused if I continue to go to her and try to do it your way.  I just want to play!!!  Help me Tim to make a decision to either start your program or quit my classes.  Sorry for the length of this email.  Any help will be appreciated.-Nancy”

This email reminds me of something Grandpa used to say that may have saved my life one time.

I was flying, one of those little Cessnas from Des Moines Iowa to Southern Missouri.

When I went to land, I couldn’t seem to get the plane slowed enough to put it down.

It was a very dark strip in the middle of nowhere and I was really struggling.

And then the words of my G-pa came ringing back to me.

“if it doesn’t work one way, try it another.”

So I turned the plane around and came in from the opposite way.

Landed with no problem.

The wind had changed 180 degrees in just a few short miles.

Probably saved my life.

And Nancy is struggling with the same thing.

She wants to believe that the traditional way SHOULD WORK, so she keeps fighting and being frustrated.

I understand.

I failed 3 times before giving up.

Then I tried it a different way.  My way, the Layer Method of piano.

And all the sudden I could play, with both hands, and flipping loved it.

It’s time to try another way.

You don’t have to have any musical background.

I still don’t know that much about “music”, and have a terrible ear, but can still play the piano and fool most anybody into thinking I have been playing for most of my life.

And I share with you on how to do this in my Layer Method program.

If you are ready to learn another way that just may finally work for you.  And at no risk to you.

Then go here, it’s time:
